I am Marcus — forty-one, logistics planner, lifelong west-side resident. Echo Lane is my personal blog, written in the mornings or late afternoons when I am not on quiet hours.

Not a professional headshot — just me between drafts.

I did not study writing. I studied operations — routes, warehouses, timing charts. The blog records the gap between how people actually move through a city and how slides say they should: kopitiam tables, lake loops, bus windows, corridor plants.

The Chin Swee note on the home page is heavier in tone; the drift notes are the everyday rule. Small anchors that keep me paying attention to where I live.

Why Echo Lane

The name came from a notebook margin — a path a thought takes when it returns slightly changed. The site lives at echoswiftpro.pro as a host label; on the page I only use Echo Lane.

What this is not

Not news, financial guidance, travel marketing, or wellness coaching. For official reporting on serious events, read people whose job that is. For a neighbour's impression of Jurong West on an ordinary Tuesday, stay here.

Corrections & contact

Errors are fixed publicly on the margin notes page. Reach me at [email protected] or via the side door for post and phone.

How I work

Notebooks first, then slow typing. I read aloud once before publishing. No sponsorship, no guest posts, no SEO offers. Mdm Lim knows about the curry plant note because I asked.
